Terms and conditions
In effect from 7 September 2026This page was translated with AI. Only the Danish text has been reviewed by a human, and the Danish version is the binding one — read the Danish version.
These are the terms for clinic services you pay for yourself. Most of what we do is free for you and is not covered by these terms.
1. What the terms cover
If you have group 1 cover under Danish public health insurance and are registered with the clinic, examination and treatment here are normally free for you. This falls under the general practice agreement between doctors and the regions and is not covered by these terms.
Some services are not covered by the agreement. You pay for these yourself. They may include:
- certificates and medical reports, for example for a driving licence, employer, insurance or studies
- vaccinations without a public subsidy
- appointments if you are not covered by Danish public health insurance
- appointments if you have group 2 public health insurance cover; you pay the part of the price not covered by the region’s subsidy
If you are unsure whether a service costs money, ask us before we start. We will also tell you when you need to pay.
2. Who your agreement is with
When you pay for a service yourself, you enter into an agreement with:
Lægeringen ApS
CVR (Danish business registration number) 44391570
You can write to us at kontakt@laegernevedassistensen.dk.
3. Prices
Prices are listed on Prices. All prices are in Danish kroner, and the price shown is the total amount you must pay.
The price that applies to you is the one we state when we agree on the service. Later price changes do not affect an agreement we have already made with you.
If a service is not on the price list, we agree the price with you before we start. If the final price cannot be calculated in advance, we explain how it will be calculated.
If the work turns out to require more than agreed, you will hear from us before we continue.
4. Payment
You pay at the clinic in connection with the service. We accept MobilePay and payment cards (Visa and Mastercard).
We do not sell services or accept payment through the website.
If a company, authority, employer or insurance company is paying, section 6 below applies.
5. Booking, cancellations and missed appointments
When you book by phone, email or online self-service, you reserve an appointment with us. You do not buy a service on the website. We agree the specific paid service with you before we start.
If you cannot attend, you must cancel by calling the clinic on +45 73 70 81 10 no later than the end of the second working day before your appointment. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays do not count.
If you miss your appointment without cancelling by the deadline, you normally have to pay the full price quoted for the booked service.
We reduce the amount if we have saved costs or been able to use the time for another patient. We therefore do not charge more than the loss caused by the missed appointment. We assess special circumstances individually.
The cancellation deadline and the consequences of missing an appointment must be clearly stated when the appointment is booked.
6. Certificates and reports
A certificate is prepared by agreement with you, and we state the price before we start. Delivery takes up to 14 days from the day we have all the information we need.
A certificate is the doctor’s professional assessment in writing. You pay for the examination and the work of preparing the certificate – not for a particular result.
We therefore cannot promise that the certificate will say what you hope. If the doctor finds no clinical basis for what you are applying for, the certificate will say so. The certificate has still been completed and must be paid for. We only write what we can professionally support.
If a company, authority, employer or insurance company is paying, the price and payment follow the agreement with whoever ordered the certificate.
For certificates with an agreed fee, we follow the current fee in Attestnøglen (the Danish medical certificate fee guide). Prices for other certificates are shown on the clinic’s website.
We send the invoice to the agreed payer. You are only personally liable if we have expressly agreed this with you before the work begins.
7. Our responsibility
We provide treatment according to normal medical standards and the rules that apply to GPs.
Our patient guides provide general guidance and do not replace an appointment. If you are unsure or get worse, contact us, the out-of-hours doctor or 112 if it is urgent.
8. Your medical record and your information
We process your information as described in the privacy policy.
This also applies to information about your payment. The Danish Bookkeeping Act requires us to keep accounting records for five years after the financial year they relate to.
9. If you are dissatisfied
Contact us first. We can resolve most matters straight away, and if a payment is incorrect, we correct it.
If you want to complain about your treatment, you can complain to Styrelsen for Patientklager (the Danish Patient Complaints Agency). The deadline is normally two years from when you became aware, or should have become aware, of the matter, and no later than five years after it happened. You can find guidance and a complaint form at stpk.dk.
If you have been injured in connection with treatment, you can apply for compensation from Patienterstatningen (the Danish Patient Compensation Association) at patienterstatningen.dk.
Forbrugerklagenævnet (the Danish Consumer Complaints Board) does not handle complaints about healthcare services. If we cannot agree on a payment, the matter can be decided by the Danish courts.
10. Changes and governing law
We may change the terms for future agreements. The version available when you ordered the service or reserved the appointment applies to your agreement.
These terms do not limit your rights under mandatory legislation.
Danish law applies, and any disputes are decided by the Danish courts.
